THE WINE PACK IN TIME FOR EASTER PLUS THE TRIP TO THE LOIRE VALLEY IN 2026

The Wine Lovers Members’ next pack will start going out in the third week of March. This pack will contain a mix of wines from Sicily and Sardinia.

At present for those who haven’t signed up we have available our fabulous selection of delicious wines from Western Australia. Featuring Riesling, Fiano and Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, Monastrelle and Cabernet Sauvignon from the Regions in WA who do it, we think, the best, treat yourselves.

In the latest Members’ pack we have chosen with the white wines a dry textural Grillo from the west coast of Sicily, a soft perfumed dry and crisp Cattaratto from the northern slopes of Mt Etna, on the island of Sicily, grown at 800 metres above sea level and a lemony textural DOCG Vermentino from the north of the island of Sardina. The red wines will be a Nerello Mascalese the endemic grape of Mt Etna in Sicily where this grape has been grown since Roman times with its soft tannins red berries and herbs on the palate. The second red wine is a Carignan from southern Sardinia with its dark fruits assertive tannin and earthy herbal characters. The third wine is a savoury medium bodied Nero d’Avola from central Sicily with dusty tannins and plummy fruits and a perfumed nose. Wines come with tasting notes and food suggestions and the price includes free delivery in Australia.

We have had quite a bit of interest in our small group Loire Valley Wine tour for 26th to 31st May 2026. We have been finalising the itinerary and it includes private wine tasting visits to some celebrated wineries, luxury hotels, some wonderful wine dinners and visits to some beautiful chateaux and their gardens and historical sites. The price is €4,000 per person and includes all transport in the week, all breakfasts, 4 lunches and 4 dinners, all wine, water and gratuities are included. A deposit of €750 is required to secure your place on this very small group tour.
