The grapes for this wine are grown and vinified on the steep slopes above the Kawarau River in Gibbston Central Otago. They are hand harvested and fermented in small batches and then go through batonage, or lees stirring to soften the acid.
It has aromas of dried herbs and lemon and lime. On the palate it has flavours of guava, melon and pear with a fresh textural finish.
