The grapes are known as Melon de Bourgogne otherwise Muscadet. The fruit is grown in the lower Loire Valley and once finished ferment they sit on yeast lees throughout the winter – which gives this wine its fabulous texture. It is pale yellow with aromas of flowers, citrus, mint and minerals. On the palate it has green apples, herbs and lovely texture balanced by fine acidity. A great match with seafood and chicken salad
