This wine to me is more like a chillable light red wine style made from Caberbet Franc grapes grown outside the town of Chinon in the Loire Valley, France.
It has lovely red berrries on the nose and on the palate with cherries and soft smokey tannins.
Delicious wine for a hot summer’s day.
