The fruit for this wine comes from Syd’s own Yarra Valley vineyard. The grapes were 100% whole bunch fermented in open pot fermenters then finished in second use French oak and bottled without fining and filtration. It has aromas of cherries, berries and spice and toasted almond. On the palate it is complex with bright red fruit with herbs and great length and texture. Delicious wine served with duck breast and roasted beetroot and roasted vegetable and goat’s cheese salad. YUM!
