This wine company spans a 130-year history of family winemaking in Rioja. The fruit for this wine comes from the family vineyards in Rioja Alavesa and Rioja Alta, sub regions. This wine is made up of 82% Tempranillo, 11% Mazuelo, 4% Graciano and 3% Maturana. It has vibrant red cherry colour with a nose of berry fruit, some oak and spices. On the palate the wine is soft and easy drinking and has a freshness and balanced mouthfeel with black fruit, spices and subtle liquorice that offers a long and persistent finish. Great served with bbq or braised meat dishes such as slow cooked beef ribs, pizza, cheese or pasta.
