This wine won the 2024 WA Good Food Guide Gold Medal for the best regional wine. It is made from handpicked fruit and wild fermented in an amporae before pressing then transferred into large format French oak for 12 months.
On the nose it has earthy forest floor with roasted rhubarb and chocolate and on the palate it has black cherries, cardamon and pepper with fine tannins and lovely rich earth finish.
A rich slow cooked casserole of beef would be a great accompaniment
