This wine is crafted in the commune of Cheilly-les Maranges situated between Cote d’Or and Saone et-Loire. They practice organic viticulture and the vineyard is 70 years old. Fruit is fermented iin concrete vessels then aged in oak. On the nose it has cherries, berries, rose petals, mushroom earthiness. On the palate it is complex with intense fruit, forest floor, roasted rhubarb, savoury flavours and lovely soft long tannns.
