This wine comes from Southern Burgundy and is made from 100% Gamay for which George Duboeuf is famous. It is deep garnet in colour on the nose it has cherries berries and spice and on the palate which is full bodied with red and black fruit flavours with a mineral undertone giving it richness, lovely luscious tannins and a long finish.
Great served with pate, duck or mushroom dishes
